Graduated in Physics (UNESP), with a master's degree in Molecular Biophysics (UNESP) and a PhD in Chemistry (UNICAMP). Since 2019, she has been a group leader at the National Biorenewables Laboratory, part of CNPEM, and is currently the head of the Biocatalysis area. She is a collaborating researcher at UNICAMP, where she is accredited in two postgraduate programs. She coordinated the open facility 'Biophysics of Macromolecules' at LNBR/CNPEM. She has been responsible for the implementation and nucleation of a new research front at LNBR that aims to valorize agro-industrial waste for the sustainable synthesis of advanced fuels (gasoline, SAF, and green diesel), green chemicals, and vitamins through redox enzymes and enzymatic cascades in cell-free systems. Within this context, she contributed to securing more than R$ 20 million in funding for the development of RD projects with private companies, Embrapii, and ANP. She has numerous articles published in internationally prestigious journals such as JBC and PNAS and has several patents filed in Brazil, PCT, USA, EU, and China. She collaborates internationally with renowned institutions, including Kings College, Imperial College, NC State, TUM, and TUDelft. She has extensive experience in macromolecule chemistry, biochemistry, structural biology, enzymology, protein biophysics, protein physical chemistry, and protein thermodynamics. She is also the mother of 8-year-old Maria Clara. (Fonte: Currículo Lattes)
