Realizou estágios internacionais de pesquisa na Universidade de Miami, EUA (2004), Universidade Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina (2003), e na KSV, Finlândia (2007). Especialista nas áreas de Físico-Química de Superfícies / Coloides e Biofísica, investiga modelos de biomembranas e dispositivos nanoestruturados por meio das técnicas de Langmuir e Langmuir-Blodgett.
