Bacharel em Química pela Universidade de São Paulo (2000) e doutorado em Química (Química Analítica) pela Universidade de São Paulo (2004) com doutorado sanduíche no Center for Advanced Food Studies - KVL. Foi Professor Assistente na Faculty of Life Sciences - Copenhagen University na Dinamarca junto ao Food Chemistry Group. É livre-docênte pela Universidade de São Paulo e Professor Associado do IQSC-USP. Tem experiência na área de Química, com ênfase em Química de Alimentos, Fotoquímica e Química Inorgânica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: métodos de separação, química redox, e técnicas espectroscopicas tais como laser flash photolysis, EPR, espectrometria de massas, e stopped-flow.
