Leonardo de Oliveira Martins

Bacharel em Ciências Moleculares (1999) e Mestre em Biotecnologia (2002) pela Universidade de São Paulo, obteve o título de Doutor em Biologia Agrícola e Ambiental pela Universidade de Tóquio (2008). Especializado em Bioinformática, Biologia Computacional e Filogenética, desenvolveu modelos em filogenômica Bayesiana, discordância filogenética, e análise estatística de dados espectrais. É atualmente Head of Phylogenomics do Instituto de Biociências Quadram, no Reino Unido, onde estuda a evolução de patógenos e microbiomas. Bachelor in Molecular Sciences (1999) and M.Sc. in Biotechnology (2002) by the University of São Paulo, obtained his PhD in Agricultural and Environmental Biology at the University of Tokyo (2008). Specialized in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology and Phylogenetics, the author has developed models for Bayesian phylogenomics, phylogenetic disagreement, and statistical analysis for spectral data.
