Since 2015 I am an Assistant Professor at the Centre of Nuclear Energy in Agriculture of the University of Sao Paulo (CENA-USP). My doctoral studies were pursued in a joint supervision between the Sao Paulo State University and the University of Paris XI (2008-2012). The experimental part was carried out at the Institute of Chemistry Campus of Araraquara, Soleil Synchrotron and Institute of Chemistry of Clermont Ferrand. After that I spent three years as a postdoc fellow at the Grunwaldt Group at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (2012-2015), there my main subjects of research were the use of XAS and XES in operando conditions intending to understand how catalysts work. I am intrerested in collaborative research involving X-ray spectroscopy, chemistry and agriculture. My scientific topics of interest are: X-ray absorption and emission phenomena, micro-XRF, nano structure growth, nano engineered materials in agriculture and environment, root nutrient uptake, and foliar nutrition of plants.
