Consultant in the Genetics and Molecular Biology Laboratory in the IPCL (FAO/IAEA) and PhD student at the University of São Paulo (USP) in the Department of Parasitology of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICB). Master by the same department in the biology of pathogen-host relationship area, with the evaluation of transgenic strain of Aedes aegypti for population suppression with releases in the field. I have experience in entomology with emphasis on medical entomology, ecology, biology, identification and collection of Culicidae family (general) and genetic manipulation in Aedes aegypti, Aedes albopictus and Culex quinquefasciatus. During these projects had the opportunity to get experience in mass rearing of Aedes aegypti GM and to release these males for population control as well as monitoring by trapping to evaluate the effect of such releases on the field.
