The Belmont Forum is a group formed by some of the major funding agencies for research projects on environmental changes in the world, among which is FAPESP. The purpose of the forum, coordinated by the International Group of Funding Agencies for Global Change Research (IGFA), is trying to change the course of international collaboration in research on environmental change through joint research calls. Researchers from higher education and research institutions, public and private, in the state of São Paulo, may participate in the call Belmont Forum.
