The professor graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the State University of Londrina (2003), and obtained his master's degree in Veterinary Medicine (2005) and PhD in Veterinary Medicine (2010) from FCAV/Unesp. He is currently assistant professor at FCAV/Unesp, accredited as permanent professor of the Veterinary Sciences graduate course and responsible for the courses in Parasitic Diseases and Zoonoses in undergraduate course in Veterinary Medicine and Saúde Silvestre and Project Management and Communication in Science in Veterinary Sciences graduate program. He is responsible for the Laboratory of Parasitic Diseases (LabEPar) and develops research with One Health approach on pathogens in wild boars, European hares and hunting dogs. He is a founding member of the Grupo Latinoamericano de Investigación y Colaboración en Enfermedades de Vertebrates Silvestres (GLICEVS), Grupo de Investigación en Salud Ambiental (GISA) and a member of the Brazilian College of Veterinary Parasitology (CBPV). In 2024, joined the São Paulo Parasitology Society as scientific director (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
