Birthplace: Brazil

Born in Marabá, Pará, Brazil, he holds a Bachelors degree in Materials Engineering from the Federal University of Pará (2010), and a Masters (2012) and PhD (2016) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Campinas. During his doctoral studies, he completed a sandwich PhD period at Aix-Marseille Université, France. Between 2023 and 2024, he carried out a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the National Center for Metallurgical Research (CENIM), Spain, as a fellow of the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aeronautical Engineering at the São João da Boa Vista School of Engineering (FESJ), São Paulo State University (UNESP), where he served as Coordinator of the Aeronautical Engineering undergraduate program from 2020 to 2022, chaired the Teaching Committee in 2022 and the Research Committee from 2025 to 2026, and acts as a Permanent Faculty Member of the Graduate Program in Engineering at FEG/UNESP, in addition to leading the Research Group on Structures, Manufacturing, and Materials (GPEM2). From 2016 to 2018, he was a Professor in the Petroleum Engineering program at the Institute of the Sea (IMar), Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). His research focuses on non-ferrous alloy metallurgy, with emphasis on metal solidification, phase transformations, aluminum and zinc alloys, microstructural characterization of metallic alloys, metallic biomaterials, mechanical properties, and corrosion behavior.
