He holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the Paulista State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" in Botucatu (1984), a Master's degree in Biological Sciences - Anatomy (1989) and a PhD in Biological Sciences (Anatomy) from the same University, also in Botucatu (1994). He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physiotherapy at FCT / UNESP, in Presidente Prudente. He has more than 33 years of experience in the field of Morphology, teaching Human Anatomy to 1st year Physical Therapy students and Palpatory Anatomy (optional) to 2nd, 3rd and 4th year Physical Education students (day and night). Works in the following lines of research: Anatomical Techniques, History, Teaching and Learning of Macroscopic Anatomy in Physiotherapy and Physical Education courses, acting administratively in the Research Ethics Committee, Departmental Council and management of the Anatomy Laboratory of FCT/UNESP, Campus de President Prudence.
