I hold a Bachelors degree in Mathematics from the São Paulo State University (UNESP/Ibilce) and a degree in Pedagogy from the Virtual University of São Paulo (UNIVESP). I have specializations in Inclusive Special Education from the North Paraná University (UNOPAR) and in Clinical and Institutional Psychopedagogy: Education and Health from the Faculty of Medicine of São José do Rio Preto (FAMERP). I earned a Masters degree in Applied Mathematics from UNESP/Ibilce and a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (USP). I completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Giftedness/High Abilities at Purdue University, USA. I am an Adjunct Professor (Livre-Docente) in Applied Data Analysis at UNESP.I served as Assistant Professor (MS-3.2) at the Department of Experimental and Work Psychology, Faculty of Sciences and Letters, UNESP, Assis Campus, from 2007 to 2015. Currently, I am Adjunct Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Statistics, Institute of Biosciences, Humanities and Exact Sciences (IBILCE), UNESP, São José do Rio Preto Campus.I am a permanent faculty member of the Graduate Program in Developmental Psychology and Learning (UNESP/Bauru), in the research line Learning and Teaching, and of the Multidisciplinary Interunits Graduate Program in Teaching and Formative Processes (UNESP/São José do Rio Preto, Ilha Solteira, and Jaboticabal campuses), in the research line Technologies, Diversities, and Cultures.I coordinate the Integral Service Network for the Gifted (RAIS) and lead the International Study and Research Group on Giftedness/High Abilities (CNPq) (GIEPAHS). Currently, I am President of the Brazilian Council for Giftedness (ConBraSD) for the 2025-2026 biennium.
