Graduate at Química Industrial from Universidade de Ribeirão Preto (1988), master's in Chemistry from Universidade de São Paulo (1994) and PhD in Science from Universidade de São Paulo (1998). He is a Permanent Researcher Level II at the Center for Environmental Studies (CEA/UNESP) and Permanent Professor at the Graduate Program in Geosciences and the Environment (Institute of Geosciences and Exact Sciences) at the Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (IGCE/UNESP). He is titled as Visiting Research Professor by Queen's University Belfast, UK (2016). He is currently the Executive Director of the CEA / UNESP. He has experience in Chemistry (with an emphasis on Analytical and Environmental Chemistry), working mainly in the development of methods in Biogeochemistry. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
