Eduardo Kokubun graduated from University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil, in 1980 with a degree in physical education. He received his master´s degree in Physical Education in 1984 and PhD in Human Physiology in1990, at the USP. He started his academic career in the Department of Sports, School of Physical Education and Sport USP in 1980. He moved to the Department of Physical Education, Bioscience Institute UNESP, Rio Claro, Brazil in 1990 teaching and researching in Exercise Physiology and Physical Activity and Health as full professor.
