He holds a Technical Course in Agriculture from the Benedito Storani State Technical School in Jundiá, SP (1999), a Degree in Animal Science from the University of Marília in Marília, SP (2003), a Master's Degree in Animal Science from the Faculty of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences of Unesp in Jaboticabal, SP (2006), Specialization in Human Nutrition and Health from the Federal University of Lavras in Lavras, MG (2007), PhD in Animal Production from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of Unesp in Botucatu, SP (2009), Post-doctorate from the Department of Economics, Sociology and Technology of the Faculty of Agronomic Sciences of Unesp in Botucatu, SP (2012) and Post-doctorate at the Center for Research and Agrofood Technology of Aragón in Spain. Full Professor of Sheep Farming at the Ilha Solteira School of Engineering, FEIS/UNESP (2017). He is currently an Associate Professor III at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science/UNESP, Botucatu Campus. He is currently the Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Animal Science (CAPES Concept 6) at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at Unesp in Botucatu, SP. He is part of the INCT Meat Production Chain team as a representative of the State of São Paulo and Unesp (2023). He is the leader of the CNPq research group Sustainable Production and Quality of Sheep Meat. He participates in the Technical Standards Study Committee of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT). He is accredited as a permanent professor in the Postgraduate Program in Animal Science (CAPES Concept 6) of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of Unesp in Botucatu and in the Postgraduate Program in Animal Science and Technology (CAPES Concept 4) of the Interunit Program of Unesp in Ilha Solteira and Dracena. He is the leader of the CNPq research group Xenobiotic residues in agriculture and the environment. He is the coordinator of the international agreement between the São Paulo State University - Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP) and the Center for Agrofood Research and Technology of Aragón in Spain. He was a professor for approximately 14 years (2009-2023) at the Faculty of Engineering of Ilha Solteira - FEIS/UNESP. He has experience in administrative positions at FEIS/UNESP, such as Head of the Biology and Animal Science Department for two terms, President of Student Housing, Representative of the Congregation, Representative of the Animal Science Course Council for 8 years, Representative of the Permanent Commission for University Extension and Culture, Representative of the Permanent Commission for Research, and several other positions at UNESP. He develops research projects in Brazil and internationally with educational and/or research institutions in Mexico, Spain, and the United States. He supervises/advises students on internships abroad with ruminant production in Denmark, France, and Florida. He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Sustainable Production and Quality of Ruminant Meat, working mainly on the following topics: sustainable production systems in agriculture, animal welfare, greenhouse gases, xenobiotic residues, carcass evaluation, preparation of meat products, and consumer studies.
