She holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1983-1987), FCAV campus in Jaboticabal. She was a CNPq scholarship holder in Veterinary Pathology (1991-1992) at the Faculty of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences of Jaboticabal. She obtained her Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1992-1994), under the guidance of Professor Dr. Antonio Carlos Alessi. She obtained her PhD in Pathology from the University of São Paulo, FMRP-USP (1994-1998), under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Leila Maria Cardão Chimelli. She completed her post-doctorate at FMVZ-USP in 2004, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Paulo César Maiorka. She was approved in the competition for Full Professor in 2010, by FMV-Araçatuba UNESP. In 2025, she was approved in the competition for Full Professor of the Discipline Veterinary General Pathology at FMV-Araçatuba Unesp. She is currently a Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Araçatuba - UNESP, where she teaches classes in the Disciplines General Veterinary Pathology and Veterinary Forensic Medicine. She also teaches classes and supervises students at the Master's and Doctorate level in the Postgraduate Program in Animal Science at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine-UNESP-Araçatuba. She has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Veterinary Medicine, with an emphasis on General and Special Veterinary Pathological Anatomy, and in Forensic Veterinary Medicine. The main lines of research where she works are: Neuropathology, neuroimmunopathology, inflammation, canine visceral leishmaniasis, tissue repair and extracellular matrix. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
