Holds a bachelor's degree in Medical Physics from the University of São Paulo, a master's degree and a doctorate in Physics Applied to Medicine and Biology from the University of São Paulo (USP-RP). Completed a post-doctorate in Materials Science at Unesp Bauru. Visiting Researcher at Harvard University in Cambridge, USA. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Sciences at UNESP - Bauru, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has experience in identifying metals in environmental samples and human tissues and in studying the impact of pollution and bioclimatic variables on health. She is currently studying the role of environmental factors in neurodegenerative diseases and the application of nanomaterials in theranostics. She works as an advisor in the Postgraduate Program in Materials Science and Technology (POSMAT), developing research in the Group of Physics Applied to Medicine and Nanotechnology (GFAMN).
