Holds a bachelors degree in Geography (2003), a Masters degree (2006), and a PhD (2011) in Geography from UNICAMP State University of Campinas (São Paulo), with a research internship at the Faculty of Geography and History of UCM Complutense University of Madrid (Spain) between 2009 and 2010. Earned the *Livre-Docência* in Territorial Planning from UNESP São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Rio Claro Campus (2019). CNPq Research Fellow (PQ-II) since 2023. Currently an Associate Professor (MS 5.3), appointed to the Department of Geography and Environmental Planning (DGPA) at UNESP São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Rio Claro Campus. Teaches in the undergraduate Geography program and serves as a faculty member and advisor for the Masters and Doctoral programs in the Graduate Program in Geography (PPGG) at the same institution.He was a visiting researcher at the Department of Geography and Spatial Planning of Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 (France) and at the Institute of Geography of UBA University of Buenos Aires (Argentina). He leads the CNPq Research Group *Uses of Territory and Planning* and coordinates LUTe the Laboratory for Geographic Investigations on the Uses of Territory. He is a member of the Global Network on Financial Geography (FINGEO), the Latin American Network of Researchers on Urban Theory (RELATEUR), the Latin American Studies Association (LASA), and the Network of Critical Studies of the Latin American State (RECEL), linked to the Academic-Pedagogical Institute of Social Sciences of the National University of Villa María (Argentina).He has experience in the field of Geography (with an emphasis on Economic Geography), working especially on the following themes: Economic Geography; processes of financialization and territorial planning; concessions of infrastructure and public services and private and state financing; and Economic Geography and the intergovernmental distribution of resources within the framework of the Brazilian federal system.
