Veterinarian and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Unesp, Araçatuba Campus. Specialized in Large Animal Clinical Medicine, an area in which he teaches Large Animal Clinical Medicine I and II. Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from FCAV/Unesp (1992-1996) and completed his residency in Large Animal Medicine at the "Laudo Natel" Veterinary Hospital. He holds a master's degree and a PhD in Internal Medicine from PPG Veterinary Medicine /FCAV (1999-2005). He has been supervising master's and doctoral students in the Graduate Program in Veterinary Sciences at FCAV/Unesp since 2010. He also advises veterinarians in the Integrated Residency Program in Veterinary Medicine, Large Animal Medical Clinics (MEC/MS) and Improvement Program in Veterinary Hospital Practices by Specialties, at the professional master's level. In addition, he served as vice-director of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Unesp, Araçatuba Campus, was president of the Ethics Committee on the Use of Animals (FOA), as well as a member of the Congregation and Course Council. With more than 100 papers indexed in Google Scholar scientific publications, his research topics include large animal diseases, diagnostic methods, and animal trypanosomiases. He participated in and coordinated several research projects funded by FAPESP, involving topics such as hematological, biochemical, serological, and histopathological alterations, as well as diagnostic tests.
