Abstract
Fibrin sealant comprises two components: the first is a serine proteinase extracted from snake venom (Bothrops neuwiedi pauloensis or Crotalus durissus terrificus); and the second is a fibrinogen-rich cryoprecipitate extracted from the blood of buffaloes, cattle or sheep.
