Graduated in Philosophy from the Catholic University of Pelotas - UCPel (1995), Master's in Philosophy from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP (1999) and Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences/Center for Logic, Epistemology and History of Science - CLE - of the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP (2012). Assistant Professor Doctor at UNESP in the philosophy department and postgraduate program in philosophy at Unesp. Winner of the 1st Prize Marcelo Dascal in Cognitive Science and Philosophy of Mind, he has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Philosophy, with an emphasis on Epistemology, Philosophy of Mind and Information, working mainly in the study of the relationship between information, cognition, emotions, Fake News . President of the Brazilian Society of Cognitive Science - SBCC - in the 2013-2015 term, he is leader of the Study Group on Philosophy of Information, Mind and Epistemology - GEFIME (CNPq/UNESP) -, Full member of the International Society for Research on Emotions - ISRE and member of the support group of the Philosophy of Mind and Information GT (ANPOF). Editor of Trans/form/ação: Unesp journal of Philosophy since 2020 and Coordinator of the Post-Graduate Program in Philosophy at Unesp in the biennium 2020/2021, with internal corporis approval of the Doctoral Course at PPGFIL.
