She holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2001), a Master's degree in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from the University of São Paulo (2004), and a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the State University of Campinas (2009). She conducted postdoctoral work and served as a Collaborating Professor at the State University of Campinas, in the Institute of Mathematics, Statistics, and Scientific Computing. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Biosciences of São Paulo State University, Júlio de Mesquita Filho, accredited in the Postgraduate Program in Biometrics at IB-UNESP, and coordinator of the Medical Physics Course at IB-UNESP. She has experience in Operations Research, with an emphasis on Linear, Nonlinear, Integer, and Mixed Programming, working primarily on the following topics: solving large-scale linear systems, interior point methods, heuristics, and mathematical modeling applied to Biosystems. She develops joint projects with national and international research groups from the following universities: USP, UNICAMP, UEM, UTFPR, University of Portsmouth - UK, University of Nottingham - UK, University of Coimbra - PT, and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso - CL. She is responsible for the Laboratory for Optimization in Biosystems and Sustainable Technology (LOBTS). She has been Enzo's mother since July 2016. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
