Eliane Maria Vani Ortega

She is graduated in Mathematics from Unesp, Faculty of Science and Technology of Presidente Prudente, SP (1994), master's degree in Education from Unesp, Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences of Marília (1998) and completed his doctorate in Education at the Faculty of Education of USP in June 2011. She is an assistant professor of the Department of Education at Unesp, Faculty of Science and Technology of Presidente Prudente, SP, under the RDIDP regime. She worked as a mathematics teacher at the elementary and high school levels, private and public, for 14 years. He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Education, with an emphasis on Mathematics Education and Teacher Training, acting mainly on the following themes: teaching of mathematics, teaching methodologies and training of mathematics teachers in the early years of elementary school. He is a member of the GPEA Research Group, FCT- Unesp de Presidente Prudente, which investigates issues related to teacher training and teaching and learning in Mathematics and has also participated in the Group of Studies and Research in Mathematical Education and Education (GEPEMEUSP) of the Faculty of Education at USP.
