Helio Grassi Filho

Graduated in Agronomy from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1985), master's degree in SOILS AND PLANT NUTRITION from the University of São Paulo (1991) and PhD in SOILS AND MINERAL PLANT NUTRITION from the University of São Paulo (1995). He is currently Full Professor at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Faculty of Agronomic Sciences, Department of Natural Resources - Soil Science. He has experience in the field of Agronomy, with an emphasis on Soil Science, Mineral Plant Nutrition, Hydroponics, Fertigation, Recovery of degraded areas, Soil pollution, Contamination with heavy metals in soils, plants and water, Biofertilizers, Biofertilizer Production Technology , Organomineral Fertilizers, Waste Management from Sewage Treatment Plants (ETE), both wastewater, polished water, water polishing and sewage sludge management, composting and allocation processes in rural and urban environments . He also works on the following topics: nitrogen, molybdenum, atmospheric N2 uptake, nitrogen reduction in plants, rhizosphere, mycorrhizae, water savings with organic residues, foliar fertilization with biofertilizers and amino acids.
