Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from São Paulo State University (UNESP - São José do Rio Preto Campus), followed by a Master's and Ph.D. in Health Sciences from São José do Rio Preto Medical School (FAMERP). During my academic journey, I conducted research at the University of Massachusetts Medical School (Worcester campus, USA) and served as a visiting professor at Harvard (Cambridge, USA) under the CAPES/Harvard Program.Current and upcoming research endeavors include: assessing the circulation of arboviruses in both humans and arthropods; exploring the antiviral properties of plant extracts; delving into Molecular Epidemiology; analyzing the spatial distribution of health issues; and employing artificial intelligence for health problem assessment.I am entrusted with teaching the Collective Health curriculum in the Pharmacy Course at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FCF), UNESP in Araraquara.Additionally, I serve as a mentor in the Tutorial Education Program (PET) for the Pharmacy Course.At FCF (UNESP), I hold the position of President of the Research Ethics Committee (CEP), sit as a member on the Local Committee for Monitoring and Evaluation of PET groups (CLAA - UNESP), and have been elected as an alternate member for the Evaluation Committee of PET groups.Awards:Hélio Gelli Pereira Award: Presented by the Brazilian Society of Virology for Best Thesis in 2010.Young Microbiologist Award: Honored by the Brazilian Society of Microbiology in 2011.
