Holding a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP) in 1986, followed by a Master's degree in the same field from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in 1989, and a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1995, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. José Pissolato Filho. Currently, serves as the coordinator of the Laboratory for Simulation of Electromagnetic Transients in Electric Power Systems (LSTSEP). With extensive experience in Electrical Engineering, works on Research and Development projects for energy companies, covering topics such as smart grids, electromagnetic transients in electric power systems, generation, transmission and distribution of electric power, intelligent systems, commercial losses, fault detection, grounding systems, surge arresters, and educational games.
