Professor of Biological Sciences and Animal Science courses working in the area of #8203;#8203;Ecology and Conservation of Natural Resources at the Department of Biology and Animal Science, Faculty of Engineering of Ilha Solteira (FEIS) of the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP). Professor-Advisor at the Postgraduate Program in Biological Sciences - (Zoology), level 6 CAPES at the Institute of Biosciences, UNESP, Botucatu. Completion of Master's degree in 2009, Doctorate in 2011 and obtaining the title of Full Professor in 2022 from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP - Botucatu Campus). Coordinator of the Fish Ecology Laboratory (Pirá) and of the Fish Ecology Research Group (CNPq) of the Department of Biology and Animal Science - FEIS - UNESP. He conducts research in the areas of Fish Ecology, working mainly on the following topics: natural fish diet, ichthyofaunal survey, environmental influences of aquaculture systems, biological invasion, environmental influences of hydroelectric projects and fish parasitology. He recently made his greatest contribution in partnership with Dr. Lidiane Franceschini, our son Heitor.
