Associate professor at the Department of Education at the College of Letters and Sciences of Araraquara and at the Postgraduate Program in Science Education at the Faculty of Sciences of Bauru at the São Paulo State University (UNESP). Associate Professor in Science Education at UNESP (2022). PhD in Chemistry Teaching from the Interunit Postgraduate Program in Science Teaching at the University of São Paulo (2013). Completed a doctoral internship with Bernard Lahire at the École Normale Supérieure in Lyon and with João Teixeira Lopes at the University of Porto and a post-doctoral internship at the Faculty of Education at USP (2018). Completed a research internship at the Centro Internazionale di Studi Primo Levi in Italy (2024), Universidad Autónoma de Chile (2018), at the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (IUL) and at the University of Porto (2019). Obtained a Degree in Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry at São Paulo State University (2005) and a Master's degree in Science from the Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos - University of São Paulo (2008), having developed a dissertation in the area of #8203;#8203;Chemical Education. Has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Chemical Education, with an emphasis on language, history, philosophy and sociology of science based on Historical-Dialectical Materialism and Historical-Critical Pedagogy. Chief editor of the journal Ensaio: Pesquisa em Educação em Ciências, responsible for the "Espaço Aberto" section of the Revista Química Nova na Escola and member of the editorial board of the Revista Tecné, Episteme y Didaxis: TED.
