Social worker. Full professor and CNPq productivity scholarship recipient Level 2. Holds a PhD from the Graduate Program in Social Work at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC/SP) (CNPq scholarship); a masters degree in Social Work from the Graduate Program in Social Work at São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (CAPES scholarship); and a bachelors degree in Social Work from Toledo Teaching Institution in Bauru. Completed postdoctoral studies at the School of Social Work of the Rio de Janeiro State University (FSS/UERJ). Engaged in teaching internships at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD, Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro) and at the University of Lisbon, in the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences (ULisboa/ISCSP), both in Portugal. Currently serves as a faculty member for undergraduate and graduate programs in Social Work at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, São Paulo State University (FCHS/UNESP-Franca-SP). Leader of the Study and Research Group on Social Work in Education (GEPESSE); Vice-leader of the Study and Research Group on Public Policies for Children and Adolescents (GEPPIA); and member of the Research Group on Professional Training in Social Work (GEFORMSS) and the Experience Systematization Center in Public Policies (NSEPP/FSS-UERJ). Registered with the São Paulo Regional Council of Social Work (CRESS-SP). Researches include: The Work of Social Workers in Basic Education in the State of São Paulo (20182021) and The Work of Social Workers in Religious Schools in the State of São Paulo (20222025, ongoing). Current research focuses on The Trends of Social Work in Basic Education in Brazil, funded by CNPq/MCTI/FNDCT Call No. 18/2021/Universal Grant (20222025, ongoing). Research and study lines encompass Social Work, with an emphasis on Social Work in Education, focusing primarily on the following themes: Social Work in Education Policy; Work Processes in Public Policies; Socio-legal Social Work; and Public Policy addressing childhood, adolescence, youth, families, and Social Work.
