Graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu - São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" - Unesp (2006), where he also completed medical residencies in General Surgery (2009) and Pediatric Surgery (2012), he graduated with a doctorate from the Postgraduate Program in Pathology (2012). He completed a free teaching position in pediatric surgery (2019). Associate Professor in the Discipline of Pediatric Surgery of the Department of Surgery and Orthopedics at the Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu, Unesp. He is a full member of the Brazilian Association of Pediatric Surgery (CIPE) and a full member of the Brazilian College of Surgeons (CBC). He directs teaching, research, and new technologies at CIPE (biennium 2024-2026). He participates as an advisor in the Professional Master's Program associated with Medical Residency (MEPAREM) and in the Postgraduate Program in General Bases of Surgery at the School of Medicine of Botucatu, Unesp, working mainly in the research line "disorders of motor activity of the digestive system" with an emphasis on diseases of the enteric nervous system. He leads the research group "Epidemiological, genetic, morphological and therapeutic aspects of pediatric gastrointestinal tract diseases." He was the coordinator of the Medical Residency Council of the School of Medicine of Botucatu - UNESP (2017-2021) and is currently the vice-director of the School of Medicine of Botucatu (2023-2027).
