He is Associate Professor (2017); PhD in Economic Sciences from the State University of Campinas (2000); Master in Rural Sociology from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1993) and Bachelor in Economic Sciences from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1987). He is currently an associate professor at the Department of Economics at the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP) on the Araraquara campus. From 2013 to 2017, he was coordinator of the Postgraduate Program (stricto sensu) in Economics at Unesp and between 2011-2013 deputy head of the Department of Economics at Unesp. He was a member of the editorial board of Revista de Economia, Administração e Sociologia Rural (Revista da Sober) between 2012 and 2018 and editor, between 2014 and 2017, of Revista Iniciativa Econômica. He is a reviewer for several national and foreign scientific journals. He has extensive teaching experience (34 years) and academic management, having, since 1999, participated in the MEC's advisory board for the evaluation of undergraduate courses in Economics and, more recently, for the board of institutional evaluators. He also develops research whose interest has been concentrated on Economic Theory/History of Economic Thought, with emphasis on Original Institutional Economics. In addition to several articles published in national and international journals on this topic, he is the author of the book "Introduction to Economic Thought by John Rogers Commons", published in Brazil in 2019, (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
