Regiane Andrade Fumes

Assistant Professor in the Department of Geology at São Paulo State University (Unesp) in Rio Claro. She holds a bachelor's degree in Geology from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2014), having completed a sandwich program at Heidelberg University for 12 months. She earned her master's and doctoral degrees from the Graduate Program in Geosciences and Environment at São Paulo State University, specializing in "Crustal Evolution: Tectonic, Magmatic, and Metamorphic Characterization," focusing on metamorphic petrology, petrochronology, geothermobarometry, microtectonics, and geochemistry. She has extensive experience in electron microprobe and scanning electron microscopy analyses. She served as a substitute professor in 2017, 2018, and 2022, and as a scholarship professor in 2019, 2020, and 2021 in the Geology and Geography courses at Unesp Rio Claro. She has been a member of the Brazilian Geological Society since 2009. During her undergraduate studies, she was actively involved in extension activities with the Geology Tutorial Education Program (PET-Geology) and Lito Jr. (Geology Junior Company), serving as vice-president and director of quality.
