Dr. Andrei Moroz, born and raised in Brazil, at the countrys richest state, São Paulo, obtained a B.Sc. degree in Biology [2006, Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), São Carlos, SP/Brazil]. After a 6 month period of biotechnology training, enrolled at a M.Sc. degree and earned the M.Sc. title in Medical Biotechnology [2009, State University of São Paulo (UNESP), São Paulo, SP/Brazil], focused at novel bioscaffolds for stem cell culture and cartilage tissue engineering. After this, obtained the Ph.D. degree (Applied Biology Cell and Structural Biology) at the same university, in the year of 2013, being the thesis focused at the modulatory effects of finasteride and fibronectin on prostate cancer cells ability to migrate and invade. Dr. Moroz has published 33 papers in respected journals, has 888 citations and h-index of 18 (Google Scholar). Has experience in applied biotechnology, 2D and 3D cell culture, stem cells, monoclonal antibodies production and prostate cancer research. He is now an assistant professor at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Department of Clinical Analysis - UNESP, Araraquara, SP, Brazil. Was appointed Deputy Editor in Chief for Monoclonal antibodies in Immunodiagnosis and Immunotherapy in 2024. Has been granted around 1 million R$ (reais) for research and development.
