Animal Scientist (1999), Master in Animal Nutrition and Production (2002), PhD in Animal Nutrition and Feeding (2005), and Associate Professor (2018) at the Faculty of Agrarian and Technological Sciences of the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (FCAT - UNESP), Dracena Campus. Between 2007 and 2008, she completed a research internship at the University of Toronto, Canada. She teaches undergraduate courses in Animal Science and Agronomic Engineering, being responsible for the subjects of Non-Ruminant Nutrition and Feeding, Poultry Farming, Feed Formulation, and Feed Processing. She is a supervisor and permanent faculty member in the Graduate Program in Animal Science and Technology at UNESP (Master's level), a joint program between the Ilha Solteira and Dracena campuses, where she is responsible for the subject of Food Analysis. She has published 44 articles in peer-reviewed journals, 7 book chapters, and over 200 papers in conference proceedings. She is currently supervising 1 postdoctoral researcher and advising 2 masters students, 3 undergraduate research students, and 1 Technical Training student (TT-3 level) funded by FAPESP. Her most recent research focuses on the use of performance-enhancing antimicrobials, such as organic acids and essential oils, as alternatives to traditional antibiotics in the diet of broiler chickens and laying hens challenged with Eimeria spp. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
