He is an Associate Professor and holds a Livre-Docência in Antennas and Microwave Engineering at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, School of Engineering, São Paulo State University (Unesp), São João da Boa Vista Campus. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from PUC-Rio, a Masters degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, and a Bachelors degree from FUMEC University. His research interests include antenna synthesis and analysis, as well as the design and fabrication of microwave and millimeter-wave devices and antennas, with an emphasis on complex geometries produced by additive manufacturing. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE, participating in the Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) and the Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S), and is also a member of the Brazilian Society of Microwaves and Optoelectronics (SBMO). Currently, he serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Microwaves, Optoelectronics and Electromagnetic Applications (JMOe).At Unesp, he served as Coordinator of the Undergraduate Program in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering and previously worked as a professor at the Federal University of Technology Paraná (UTFPR) and as a postdoctoral fellow at Inatel. He also worked as an RF Engineer at TV Globo, contributing to digital TV projects and microwave systems. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
