Associate Professor in the Department of Aeronautical Engineering at São Paulo State University (UNESP), where he currently serves as Head of Department. His activities encompass teaching, research, and outreach, with a focus on advanced manufacturing processes, including additive manufacturing and welding. His research is centered on the characterization and mechanical performance of materials, with emphasis on fatigue, fracture, and structural integrity, employing advanced microstructural characterization techniques to establish correlations among microstructure, processing, and properties.He has experience in the study and development of metallic, polymeric, and composite materials applied to different engineering contexts. In teaching, he works at both undergraduate and graduate levels, dedicating himself to the technical and scientific training of engineers and researchers, while encouraging critical thinking and academic autonomy among students.He has extensive experience supervising undergraduate final projects, masters dissertations, doctoral theses, and research projects. He maintains a strong interest in establishing new collaborations in research, technological innovation, and human resource development, with a focus on the development and application of materials and manufacturing processes for aeronautical and aerospace engineering, contributing to the advancement of knowledge, technology, and scientific competitiveness in these strategic fields.
