Holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia - Bogotá (2012), validated as a B.S. in Electrical Engineering by the University of São Paulo (USP) in 2018. He received his Master's (2014) and Ph.D. (2019) degrees in Electrical Engineering from São Paulo State University (UNESP). He conducted postdoctoral research at the Power Electronics Laboratory - UNESP/FEIS (2019) and at the Institute of Science and Technology of Sorocaba - UNESP (2020-2022). Since October 2022, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor (RDIDP - level MS-3.1, tenured track equivalent) at the Institute of Science and Technology of Sorocaba - UNESP, affiliated with the Department of Environmental Engineering.His research interests encompass Electronic Instrumentation and Data Science applied to Environmental Systems, Smart Energy Meters, Power Quality, Digital Control, Digital and Analog Signal Processing, and Microgrids. He has experience in mathematical modeling and simulation of static power electronic converters, applied to active power factor correction and soft-switching techniques. Additionally, he possesses proficiency in PCB design software, Hardware Description Languages, and various programming languages for the implementation and development of embedded controllers on FPGAs and microcontrollers.
