Master of Science in Microbiology (2013) from the Institute of Microbiology Paulo de Góes at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro UFRJ. Ph.D. in Biosciences and Biotechnology from the State University of Northern Rio de Janeiro UENF (2018). Completed postdoctoral training at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and at the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture ESALQ, University of São Paulo (USP).Since 2023, he has been an Assistant Professor (MS3.1) at São Paulo State University Unesp, Faculty of Sciences Bauru Campus, where he coordinates the Laboratory of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics of Microorganisms LB2M. He has experience in environmental microbiology, with emphasis on agricultural applications, as well as in clinical microbiology. He is a bioinformatician with extensive practice in phylogeny, metagenomics, comparative genomics, microbiome analysis, and bacterial and fungal genome assembly.Graduate advisor in the Biosciences Program (Unesp inter-unit).
