He holds a Bachelors degree in Science and Technology (2011), Materials Engineering (2014), and Physics (2022) from the Federal University of ABC (UFABC). He earned his Masters (2016) and Ph.D. (2020) degrees in Nanosciences and Advanced Materials, also at UFABC. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship, funded by FAPESP, at the Institute for Theoretical Physics (IFT) of the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP) in 2021. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Chemistry at UNESP in Ilha Solteira and a permanent faculty member of the Graduate Program in Materials Science (PPGCM). His research experience is in Physics, with an emphasis on Condensed Matter Physics, focusing mainly on the following topics: density functional theory, many-body perturbation theory, GW-BSE formalism, classical molecular dynamics, semiconductors for photovoltaic and photoelectrochemical applications, graphene and other carbon allotropes, optoelectronic properties of two-dimensional materials, and point defects in semiconductors.
