Francisco Rolfsen Belda (Ph.D. in Production Engineering, University of São Paulo, 2009) is Associate Professor of Journalism at São Paulo State University (UNESP) and researcher in the Graduate Program in Media and Technology. He serves as Brazil's co-leader of the Trust Project, an international initiative promoting transparency and trust in journalism, and is Director of Operations at Projor Institute for the Development of Journalism. Dr. Belda has extensive experience as a reporter, editor, communication advisor, entrepreneur, and media business administrator. He was a visiting professor at Brandeis University (USA) and is a board member of the International Media Management Academic Association (IMMAA). He is a founding partner of Editora Casa da Árvore, a small publishing company focused on media innovation and scientific dissemination, and president of Parafuzo, an end-to-end services marketplace operating nationwide in Brazil.
