Ricardo Tokio Higuti received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and the M.S. and Dr.Eng. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Escola Politécnica, University of São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil, in 1991, 1994, and 2001, respectively. Since 1994, he has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), Ilha Solteira, Brazil. The current research interests include the development of ultrasonic sensors for liquids, ultrasonic imaging, and signal processing for ultrasonic and interferometric signals.
