Full Professor at the School of Natural Sciences and Engineering, Ilha Solteira, São Paulo State University (UNESP). Bachelor's in Physics from the Federal University of Ceará (1993), Master's in Physics from the Federal University of Ceará (1995), PhD in Physics from the Federal University of São Carlos (1999), and Professorship from the São Paulo State University (2005). He has experience in producing, characterizing, and phenomenology of ferroelectric, multiferroic materials, and hybrid perovskites. From 2004 to 2007, he was coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Materials Science (UNESP at Ilha Solteira). He has coordinated numerous research projects, including international cooperation projects Brazil-Spain (CAPES-DGU: 2007-2009), Brazil-Italy (CNPq-CNR: 2012-2014), Brazil-France (CAPES-COFECUB: 2014-2017), and the International Research Network (CAPES-PRINT: 2019-2024). He coordinates the Brazil-Germany bilateral cooperation project (CAPES-DAAD: 2023-2027) and is part of the National Institute of Science and Technology of Ferroic Materials for Energy Converters (INCT-CNPq: 2022-2028).
