Graduated in Medicine from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1974), Master's degree in Tocogynecology from the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto - USP (1984), Doctorate in Clinical Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu - UNESP (1990) and Bachelor's degree Teaching at the Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu - UNESP (2000). Since 2008 he has been Full Professor of Obstetrics at the Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu-UNESP. He has experience in the area of Medicine, with an emphasis on Obstetrics, working mainly on the following topics: high-risk pregnancy, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, and perinatal morbidity and mortality.
