Degree in Physiotherapy from the State University of Londrina. Completed a residency in Pulmonary Physiotherapy at the University Hospital of the State University of Londrina. Obtained a Master's degree from the Master's Program in Physiotherapy at São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho, UNESP. Earned a PhD at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, KUL (Belgium). Completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Rehabilitation Sciences at the State University of Londrina/Pitágoras University UNOPAR. Currently, he is a Professor in the Physiotherapy course at Pitágoras University UNOPAR Anahnaguera, the State University of Londrina, and at the State University of São Paulo (UNESP) in Presidente Prudente. He is a Permanent Supervisor for the Graduate Program in Rehabilitation Sciences at UEL/UNOPAR (CAPES Concept - 5) and for the Graduate Program in Physical Exercise for Health Promotion at UNOPAR (CAPES Concept - 4). Research productivity fellow at CNPq - Level 2. Current General Scientific Director of the Brazilian Association of Respiratory Physiotherapy, Cardiovascular Physiotherapy, and Intensive Care Physiotherapy (ASSOBRAFIR) for the 2025 - 2028 administration. He has experience in the area of Physiotherapy and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, mainly working on the following topics: COPD, Interstitial Lung Diseases, physical activity in daily life, eccentric training, muscular fatigue, end-of-life care, exercise tolerance assessment, functional capacity assessment, and balance.
