I have a degree in philosophy from the University of São Paulo (1986), master's degree in Logic and Philosophy of Science from the University of Campinas (1991), doctorate in philosophy from the University of São Paulo (1998), Habilitation in philosophy from the Universidade Estadual Paulista ( 2008), Visiting Researcher in Philosophy of Mind at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst supervised by Lynne Rudder Baker (10/2010-3/2011) and Visiting Researcher at the Department of Philosophy at the University of California San Diego under the supervision of Patricia Churchland (11/2013-02/2014). Professor at the University of São Paulo State Bauru since 1992, giving Philosophy classes to undergraduate courses, especially Psychology, and I am also accredited teaching at the Philosophy Post Graduation Program at University of São Paulo State Marilia teaching courses and guiding research in Philosophy of Mind area. I developed research on the thought of the philosopher Henri Bergson and I dedicate nowadays to the study of contemporary approaches in Philosophy of Mind themes such as "mind and body", "personal identity" and "free will and determinism," with a particular interest in Neurophilosophy. In this context, I have been dedicating to the developing of a "Double Face View" of the mind-brain relationship. I have been coordinating the Group of Work on Philosophy of Mind of the National Association of Post Graduation in Philosophy (ANPOF) (2013/2014 and 2015/2016). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
