She holds a Bachelor's degree in Technological Chemistry and a Teaching Degree from the State University of Campinas (1991). She holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (1995). She holds a PhD in Sciences from the State University of Campinas (2002). She has been an Assistant Professor at the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (Assis Campus) since 2005. She teaches courses in Bioprocess Engineering and Biotechnology and Biological Sciences. She studies the antioxidant, antiproliferative, anti-inflammatory, antiviral and phytotoxic potential of phenolic compounds from Myrtaceae from the Assis region, as well as the microencapsulation of the most promising extracts.
