He is currently a Full Professor (from 2005) of the UNESP - São Paulo State University - Campus of Ilha Solteira, Ilha Solteira (SP), Brazil. Has experience in Electrical Engineering, focusing on the following subjects: electrical power systems, transient stability, distribution systems, security analysis, anticipatory systems, machine learning, artificial immune systems, and fuzzy systems.
