Pedro Angelo Pagni is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences of the São Paulo State University (UNESP), in Brazil. PhD in Education (1999) and Associate Professor in Philosophy of Education (2011) from the same university, with a postdoctoral internship at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2008). He was coordinator of the GT-Philosophy of Education at ANPEd (2012-2013) and member of the ANPEd Scientific Committee (2023-2025). Since 2022 he has been first secretary of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Society of Philosophy of Education (Sofie). He is a researcher at the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), from 2008 to the present (level 1D), working in the sub-area of Philosophy of Education and exploring its interfaces with other sub-areas of Education such as those related to Special Education and Education and Diversity. She coordinated the International Research Network "Diversity, Social Movements and Inclusion" at UNESP, supported by CAPES-Print (2019-2024). He is a member of ANPOF's GT-DEF Philosophy. Since 2014, he has been researching topics related to disability and inclusive education, from the point of view of philosophies of difference and his experience as the father of a young woman with trisomy 21 and as a participant in social movements that fight for inclusive education, among which the movement "Quererla es crearla: una edcuacion para una sociedad inclusiva" stands out. . In this field, he stands out for the publication of books such as Aesthetic Experience, Human Formation and Art of Living (Loyola Editions, 2014); Ethics, transversality and disability: challenges from the art of living to school education (CRV Editora, 2018); Biopolitics, disability and education: other views on school education (Editora UNESP, 2019) and Foucaultian portraits of disability and ungovernability in school (Editora Cultura Acadêmica and Oficina Universitária, 2023), among other articles in journals.
