Graduated in Biological Sciences Bachelor's degree from the Basic Institute of Medical and Agricultural Biology (1982), Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences Degree from the Basic Institute of Medical and Agricultural Biology (1982), Master's degree in Biological Sciences (Botany) from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1986) and doctorate in Biological Sciences (Plant Biology) from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1992). He is currently an associate professor at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho. Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Biological Sciences (Botany) at the Institute of Biosciences, Botucatu Campus, UNESP since 2013. He has experience in the field of Botany, with emphasis on Nutrition, Water and Plant Growth, working in primary and specialized metabolisms, focusing on the phytochemical study and biological activity of compounds.
