Bachelor's at Speech Pathology from Universidade do Sagrado Coração (1989), master's at Disorders of Human Communication (Speech Therapy) Universidade Federal de São Paulo (1997) and doctorate at Disorders of Human Communication (Speech Therapy) from Universidade Federal de São Paulo (2003). Currently is an Assistant Professor of São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho". She is a member of the Research Group Studies on Hearing, registered at CNPq. She has experience in Speech Therapy, with emphasis in Audiology, working mainly on the following subjects: hearing, auditory perception, auditory tests, central auditory processing, evaluation and rehabilitation of central auditory processing disorders, children, adults and elderly.
