Maria Cristina Pereira Lima holds a degree in Medicine from UNESP, where she completed her residency in Psychiatry. She holds a Master's degree in Medical Sciences from UNICAMP and a PhD in Preventive Medicine from USP. She has training in Therapeutic Psychodrama from the Sedes Sapientae Institute. She completed a postdoctoral degree at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Toronto University (ON). She is a full professor of Psychiatry at the Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu, UNESP. She has a degree in Business Management from FATEC-SP. She was vice-director of the Faculty of Medicine of Botucatu (2015-2019) and director of the same institution, from 2019-2023. She served as vice coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Public Health from 2010 to 2014 and was a member of the Technical Chamber of Psychiatry of CREMESP (Regional Council of Medicine of SP) from 2011 to 2018. She was also a member of the State Health Council of São Paulo and of the Academic Editorial Board of Editora da UNESP, both for four years. She was a CNPq Productivity Scholar (Level 2) from 2010 to 2023. The most frequent themes in the contextualization of her scientific production are Epidemiology, Alcohol Use Disorders, Violence and Medical Education. She currently works as Advisor to the Coordination of Affirmative Actions, Diversity and Equity (CAADI) at Unesp. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
